Three stars for okay coffee. The coffee is tailored for Starbucks-like coffee at a local coffee shop... We did LOVE the friendly service and environment.
The atmosphere here is really relaxing. There's a lot of seating, including a bartop, booths, tables, a back room with couches, an outdoor deck with a fireplace, and a private party room. The employees are friendly, and the coffee is delicious. There is more parking on the side of the building.
Just stopped by to check it out. Very popular by the locals. Plenty of college students there. Nice and roomy. I'll know better when I have a chance to sample the goods.
Need a fix? Ask for Austin and he will fix you right up!Happy to say that Wired is a frequent stop for good coffee. Suggestion: You need a mobile app with mobile ordering and rewards built into the app 😁
Oh my gosh Wired is awesome ! We went for an impromptu business meeting. After staying for 30 minutes a barista greeted us with complementary waters! So unbelievably nice !!
I very much appreciate places like this that are comfortable and happy as a place to work and study. I'm not a coffee drinker. I don't even like coffee, but I enjoy sitting in a coffee shop enjoying a pastry or tea and working on my studies or work. This place is nice for that because it has several walls separating seating areas making it quieter and more cozy.
Friendly staff and amazing house coffee at a good value. The atmosphere is very original.
Wow. Just wow. This place is PERFECT.The first time I walked into Wired I was awestruck at how adorable and comfortable the place is. It's rustic yet modern. And there are quite a few places to sit.... Well, that's if all the seats aren't taken over by coffee loving college students. Tip for getting a good seat: come during the day or sometime before 8pm. I love this place not only for the comfortable setting and live music every Saturday night, but for the coffee (of course). Wired has their stuff together. I got a frozen caramel latte expecting that I'd have to put several extra teaspoons of sugar to get the taste to my liking, but the coffee was PERFECT. not too sweet and not too overwhelmed with that underlying caffeinated taste. Just right. They also do coffee art if you ask! Definitely drop by if you're a coffee lover or just looking for a new place to get some studying done. Wired won't disappoint.
Best place in Chattanooga to get coffee!!
I really wanted to like this place since it was close to home. Sometimes I'd get a good latte, other times it tasted burnt. And the iced coffee made me wish that I just driven to Starbucks instead. The inside seemed like a nice place to enjoy a coffee, but it seemed like the same people were parked in their designated seats on a laptop all day long, leaving no seats for a casual customer.
This is a great coffee shop tucked away from the strip malls up the road. Perfect for meetings.
I went to a small gathering concert there. Their coffee was excellent, their biscotti and cake were INCREDIBLE! Staff was helpful and friendly. Vegan, organic candy available
I love the vibes of this little coffee shop. Yesterday was my first time and the atmosphere was so calm, cozy and warming. The staff was also very friendly. One staff member recommended a coffee with rose and honey and it was one of the best coffee I have ever had! Super impressed and will be back routinely!
Great coffee and atmosphere.I make a habit of asking for recommendations from the employees anytime I discover a new coffee shop, and I can't seem to stop doing it here. Every barista has had something new, and they are all prenominal.Super laid back, comfortable seating, great staff, what more could you want?
The best dark roast I have ever had.I order it everywhere I go, and this was absolutely phenomenal. Was pretty crowded around 6:30 with high schoolers and college students, so there was no parking, as I had to walk from a neighboring lot.The workers are super courteous and kind, and the noise level is low for the crowd level. I highly recommend.
The people who work there are always so nice, I feel like that's what makes coffee shops great. Very good coffee as well!! (Try the London Fog Iced, it's pretty good.)
I can’t say enough about this place and the staff. There is a ton of room at this coffee shop instead of your typical cramped coffee spot. Wired has a meeting room in the back and a cool large patio outside with an outdoor fireplace. The owner Lisa is a great person and has hired some amazing baristas, Amanda and Julia do a great job, I usually don’t even know what I’m going to have they just ask how I’m feeling that day and hook me up with a tasty cup of awesomeness!
Nice and big back room that helps with studying for school. I have tried new things and each time enjoyed it :)
Nice place. I travel a lot and try my best to experience local businesses as much as possible, this one did not disappoint. I asked for a recommendation and one of the baristas suggested something I'd never tried before and as it turns out, it was great...Espresso, with half and half, cinnamon and agave.
Wired was okay. To me it wasn't specifically better than any other coffee shop. The muffin was good, but seemed like an average box-mix and oversized muffin. Coffee didn't stand out at all for better or worst. That's not bad. Just average.
Tired of chain restaurant coffee? Try Wired! After being spoiled by Pete's, this shop is only adequate, but it sure is better than the other guys in Collegedale!
Wired is my favorite place to get work done. The coffee is good (and that should be enough!) and the people are friendly. The baristas go out of their way to make you feel at home. The fact that it’s a local business alone should push you to skip the fivebucks, but honestly it’s just better. Interstate travelers: when you get to exit 11 you’ll see the fivebucks right away. DON’T DO IT! Wired is literally 3 minutes down the road. There’s parking in front, to the side, behind and across the street. There’s plenty of seating (I like the booth furthest from the door) and a stand up bar to work at if that’s your thing. The pastries aren’t made on site, but they are good and not taken from a plastic bag when you order them (like the place down the road). Basically, you should get WIRED.
What a great local business. Not only was the coffee and tea on point, but so was the customer service. I will recommend to anyone looking for a great local place.
This our go to spot for our morning coffee and business meetings while we are in town for work and it is great. The staff here is so sweet and knowledgable and treat us like royalty, which is greatly appreciated.
